A 501(c)(3) Public Charity · Bakersfield, CA

A Movement of Kindness
and Good.

We are neighbors helping neighbors in the war against food insecurity. The only numbers we chase are the ones that let us feed and provide for the most people, for the least amount of money.

Who we are

Small, brand new, and
already feeding thousands.

Feeding Bakersfield provides food, clothing, hygiene, and basic necessities through partnerships with food distributors and the support of our community.

We run the only 24-hour, 7-day-a-week community food pantry in our area. We're a small 501(c)(3) serving nearly 4,000 people a month — almost entirely from private donations, redirected food waste, and neighbors helping neighbors.

"We believe in treating people with dignity and respect. We recognize and love our neighbors."
